Have some Fun
Dig out an old basket ball or a ball you can bounce and go for a walk. The next
thing you know you will be semi jogging, dribbling and just feeling young again.
Buy or borrow a bike just to peddle around your neighborhood or even the block.
Relax a little and let the sense of adventure take over and the next thing you know you will be having some fun instead of
exercising.
Play
catch with a softball, baseball, tennis ball or football with a neighbor, their kids or how about your wife, girlfriend,
husband or a good friend. This is also good for quality time.
Wrestle with the kids. If you don’t have
any; borrow some and make sure you let them win all the time. No teaching or giving advice to spoil the fun.
Go to a retirement village or your Church and volunteer
to be a walking partner for some of the single ladies or just some of the seniors that could use the company and make yourself
a new friend.
If
you think about it, kids are in shape because they have fun and are always on the move. Having fun is the secret to having
a great life the exercise and health is just a perk. If negative thoughts are holding you back, set them down for an hour
and just take off without them for a new adventure. Just do it!
